In addition to architecture we design bridges.  Excel Bridges are pedestrian grade structures suitable for walking trails, bridal paths and bikeways. Spans range from eight to over one-hundred feet.  Two & three span bridges are also possible. Widths are typically six to twelve feet. These structures are designed by an independent engineer and detailed by our firm.   Excel Bridge Corporation does the fabricating in Santa Fe Springs, California and delivers to any site in the USA.

Urban street and highway bridge design projects are also produced as team efforts with site planners, engineers and landscape architects.  The landscape designers develop the circulation pattern and set the location of the bridge.  Our architects work closely with the structural engineers to develop an exciting form. The abutments, trusses and beams are designed by the engineers, while architects work on the pedestrian way, lighting and safety rails. The final product is integrated into the landscape design resulting in a pleasing experience for both the user and observer.
